FLORIS — FEINKOST und BISTRO · Berlin

FLORIS FEINKOST und BISTRO combines gourmet food retail and an offering of freshly prepared eat-in or take-away lunches. The precision and materiality of the furniture stand in contrast to the industrial feel of the lighting and forms the framing presentation for the various products and foods with clear lines and shapes.

A bar outlined in red dominates the space, displaying the products and defining the retail and bistro areas. It is accompanied by a light shelf along the wall and by four red rolling elements. These serve primarily the presentation of seasonal specialties and as service furniture for the bistro. In ensemble with the equally mobile presentation and seating of the shop windows, various furniture situations are possible to which the track lighting can be adjusted accordingly. The room-high curtains make it possible to separate the large lunch table for discrete consulting and sales meetings for FLORIS CATERING.

All furniture was made using multiplex boards with a melamine resin coating, complemented with the functional use of stainless steel, glass and bamboo parquet in their various colors, depending on the material.
