DUDU — Restaurant · Berlin
The restaurant DUDU is located on the ground floor of a former soap factory in Berlin-Mitte. The reduced interventions, clear lines, and materials retain the original industrial character of the space.
Expanded by staging the vaulted ceiling and several color accents in the interior design, the result is an elegant and simple framework for the exotic Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine with a South American touch (in collaboration with Ana Quintana and Danja Bernot).

Full House Bisazza — Exhibition · Berlin
In the framework of DESIGN MAI 2007, the event “Full House – Designer in Berlin richten das Haus am Waldsee ein” (Berlin Designers Redesign Haus am Waldsee’s Interior) the visitor’s lounge was realized according to a design by Carlo Dal Bianco. The opulently designed objects and valuable materials were staged against a black and white contrast that dominated the space.

Flat — Renovation · Berlin
A luxurious apartment at the heart of the “new” Berlin where the haute-bourgeois tradition of the late nineteenth century is reinterpreted by adding modern interior design in combination with perfectly restored elements of old construction. Clear lines and colors give the rooms air to breathe (in collaboration with KLOTZBACH Architekten · www.klotzbach.eu).

Flat — Refurbishment · Milan
This small flat in the centre of Milan allows the connection of living and working space. The materials and colour range of the interventions are based on the existing colours and structures. The contrast in between the tradition of Milan architecture of the early Twenties and the straight geometry of the installations leads to an attractive combination of Old and New.

Flat WB51 — Renovation · Dresden
To structure the small roomed attic apartment as clearly as possible and to enable the insertion of a bathroom, the three small rooms were converted into a larger room. A function box was placed centrally in the apartment, in one part of the hallway on the way to the kitchen and the former children’s room: this function box contains the bathroom and storage space and is functionally present in all rooms, in terms of color as well.

Morenocarusi — Restaurant · Berlin
The spacious dining area is structured by the vitreous body of the staircase. This element unites and divides at the same time as presenting itself as an inviting luminous item to the outside. The front dining area is characterised through the open atmosphere of the display windows, the rear dining area is marked by shelfs in which wine is stored and offered for sale. The kitchen can be viewed through a window in the shelf so that the guests can observe the food preparation. The carefully processed materials, the warm colours and clear forms of the spacial elements offer an appropriate venue for Moreno Carusi’s art of cooking.

Conversion of a barn — Vico d´Arbia · Siena
The contrast between traditional appearance of the building and the integrated modern installations as well as the respectful handling of the local range of colours and materials define the character of this project. As a shed the listed building belonged to a former monastery in the Chianti region. The core fully removed and renovated, the non stable outer walls were fortified by a steel structure. The very clear contours of the interior with its white walls lets the furniture seem almost like monolithic sculptures. The orange, yellow and ochre colours develop a direct connection between outside and inside and is taken further with the colourful areas of the garden that lead onwards into the landscape of the Toscana.
